AUTO LUNCH BUNCH

FROM: Ed Kemper host and producer of Island Driver TV (OC-16) and auto writer for Hi Luxury magazine and Bill Maloney producer and host of Ohana Road TV show (KITV) and columnist of A BUNCH OF MALONEY in the Honolulu Advertiser.
Ed Kemper and Bill Maloney would like to thank those who attended the Auto Lunch Bunch last month at the Waikiki Yacht Club.
Special mahalo to Cutter Chevrolet for bringing the 2010 Chevy HHR and Bob Bosely for show us his very unusual 1926 Chevy Suburban. And super mahalo to Dave Rolf, head of the Hawaii Auto Dealers Association, who updated us on the upcoming First Hawaiian Auto Show at the Convention Center on March 26,27, 28, 2010, and provided those who attended two free tickets and a press kit.
Our next lunch will be Tuesday, APRIL 6 at the Waikiki Yacht Club at noon.

. The Club wants to get a handle on who is going to show up so the Club can arrange the tables and make sure their is sufficient staffing.
Get the drift. Not a club. No agenda. Nobody's selling anything. No roster or membership, cheap food ($14.25 includes meal, drink and tip, cash only please) and we'd do it EVERY first Tuesday of the month at the Waikiki Yacht Club, Atkinson at Ala Moana Bl noon.
Plenty of parking in Ala Moana Park and Magic Island.

We will meet at the Big City Dinner in Pearlridge Shopping Center - near Toys 'r Us at 5:30 pm.
To avoid any mass confusion we will not converge on the restaurant as a group. This way we won't get our checks all lumped together.
Around 7:00 p.m. after eating (you don't have to eat at BCD) we will meet in the parking lot and take a cruise into Waikiki and if it's really a nice night we might even go as far as Sandy Beach.

9:00 AM Meet at Waimanalo Elementary School parking lot in Waimanalo (across from the fire station and Catholic Church) about 1/2 mile Makapu'u side of Jack in the Box. Please note that Hawaii State law does not allow smoking on school grounds including the parking lot. Please kokua.
9:30 AM drivers meeting and announcements
9:45 AM Cruise begins at Koko Marina Center in Hawaii Kai for donation drop off. We should arrive at the donation drop off site a little after 10:00 AM. Please obey all speed limits and traffic laws and drive with Aloha!

Cost per person : $5
There will be 3 stops and we will finish up at Breakers, Haleiwa for prize giving around 5pm followed by dinner.
Monetary Prizes will be given and the amount will depend on the number of participants.
It will be a 5 card draw with all participants being dealt the 1st card at Sandy's and then a card at each of the 3 stops. The last card will be dealt at Breakers as well
You don't need to be able to play Poker to participate, rules will be made up & explained along the way.
You are welcome to join in the caravan along the drive up the east side and/or join us for dinner at Breakers.
As Breakers needs numbers please let us know if you will be joining us just for dinner.
As the Guilfoyles will be moving back to Ireland a few days later - it would be great to see lots of our CCOH Ohana at this event.
